Southern Eastern Regional College visit

00News September, 14

We were delighted to have a visit from the Southern Eastern Regional College last week. Here is the feed back we had from their training officer Janet Harrison.

“Hi Neil,

I just wanted to say a big thank you for all your help with our college visit on Tuesday.  The participants really enjoyed it and felt it gave them good insight into the printing business.  They were also very impressed by your commitment to the Steps To Work Programme and the ongoing provision of training and opportunity to achieve further qualifications.

We appreciate that you took time out from your work to facilitate us, and the assessor!

Thanks again,

Janet Harrison”

We really appreciate this kind of feedback

Peninsula Print leading by example

00News September, 14

At Peninsula Print we are dedicated to reducing the negative impact our organisations day to day activities have on the environment.  We are leading by example at Peninsula Print to encourage the reduction of carbon emissions and this is why our MD Gary Withers has chosen the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV as his new company vehicle. As well as having very low emmisson of 44 g/km CO2 hugely lowering his carbon footprint,it qualifies for Zero Road Tax contribution. Gary expects to save approx. £300/Month on fuel.

We take our responsibilities in this important area very seriously and we have a carefully defined environmental policy which is constantly being updated and refined, and which is available to the public on request. We are currently in the process of formalising this policy by ensuring that all of our measures, checks and controls are in line with BS8555, the official industry accreditation that denotes us as an eco-friendly printer.
